A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught for many years both in Kenya and in US. This has afforded me the opportunity to work with students of diverse cultures. I have tutored in mostly in Math and Sciences. I have tutored students for AtoZ tutoring where I assisted in reading comprehension and grammar. I currently work in a project based Charter school in Las Vegas.
Having many years of teching experience, I have always used a child centered approach. I normaly use a teaching style which is specific for a child. My teaching style is unique. I make sure that students learn by doing, not by watching me do problems. As a student i always found that the most effective teachers used a style that allowed the student to do problems and ask questions. Today i put these practices to use in my tutoring. I believe that no child is a lost cause and that any child can learn given the right circumstances.
