As a special education teacher, I have tremendous patience and have seen tremendous progress, measured both in small steps and in giant leaps. I am a strong believer in individualized education, and subscribe to the theory that each child can achieve greatness. My goal is to influence each student with humor, hands-on activities and first-hand applicable experience. It is also important that as a tutor, I use audio-visual materials to strike every learning chord. I also strongly believe that students learn best through a mix of guided and independent practice, and a positive and stress-free learning environment. All students have the capability to achieve, and can reach their ultimate goals of success when confronted with real-world applicable opportunities as well as with rote practice.
