Although I have only tutored English in Japan to adults and children, I believe my bachelor degree in French and Master's degree in art education combined with one year of student teaching in art provide a strong foundation to be an effective tutor. I have always been drawn to children and have enjoyed being with and teaching them. Before working in preschool, my teaching style was unrefined, and based largely on a general paternalistic instinct. My experience at the preschool taught me the value of coordinated language use in dealing with different students in different situations between care-givers. As a recent graduate from the University of New Mexico. I have earned two bachelor degrees, BS in Spanish and BS in Sociology, this two combined have allowed me to understand social sciences to a new level.
