I am currently entering ASL 5 at college level, I am a member of the American Sign Language Honor Society, and have tutoring experience. I would say my teaching style is that everyone has the potential to improve and that everyone has the ability to learn. I am very patient and my goal is to help every individual student's needs, whatever that may be. My schedule is very flexible and I am available weekdays, evenings and some weekends. I recently graduated from Ayala High School with honors. I have been studying ASL for more than 4 years now and I am eager to share my experience and knowledge with those eager to learn. I have always been interested in American Sign Language. I took classes in high school and passed them with A's. Soon after graduating I decided to go to Palomar College and took ASL 3 and 4 and fell in love with the language even more so. My mom and my step father are both deaf and my real father was hearing. So growing up I learned sign language along side with learning english. I have almost always interperted for my mother and step father in many situations. In American Sign Language I was raised learning English along with American Sign Language so I could speak to both of my parents. As my dad is hearing and my mother has been deaf since birth.
