In college, I was a peer tutor in Math, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. I have sub-taught for CUSD 5, and CUSD 87, for 3 years. I have a Illinois Type 09 Certification, which is currently valid in McLean County. I have good grammar skills, and very good mathematical skills. I completed 2 semesters of Organic chemistry, 3 quarters of College Algebra, and 2 quarters of College Calculus (single variable only) I have had a lot of experience working with autistic students, behavior disorder students, and LD students, also.
My teaching style is one which engages the student actively in the learning process. I have used the "popcorn" technique in a classroom, where I call out "popcorn", then call on someone at random.
