My comments on tutoring Writing Skills : My grammar is just as spotty as yours, and I managed to graduate with a degree in writing. I hope to broaden your vocabulary and at least help you learn how to self correct. A skilled writer knows that their most valued tool is the eraser/backspace key because good writing requires a lot of repair and maintenance, always striving for a more perfect version of your first draft.

I'm a recent college graduate from NC State, with a degree in Creative Writing. However, the CW course instilled in me knowledge in a variety of fields from film to philosophy, and as a requirement of modern education made me more than just fluent in the language of computers. I'm a would-be author, and a writer of short stories, and have won an honorable mention in a few poetry contests. In college I was frequently asked by friends in less liberal majors for help in writing papers and getting ideas across, because while a Biology major dreads the 25 page research paper, the English major just shrugs and says "I just wrote like, three of those yesterday." A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching social studies in Cabarrus County for the past 12 years. I am nationally board certified and have my AP certification in World History.
