LOUD & LIVELY! I like to make the lessons I teach interesting and involvement is key. If I can educate and entertain (a tool I use), I command participation, respect and learning. Due to my style, students, once in a while, think it's all fun and games. I am also an enforcer of rules. If you want to continue to have learn and have fun, you better act right.
As an educator, I have tutored students in mathematics and English from grades 4 through college level. I have taught songwriting in summer camps, 4th grade language arts and ESL to high school kids fresh from Korea. A Little Bit About Me...

I student taught in a kindergarten classroom. I had two different classes and they were all different. They were all on different levels and I needed to figure out were they all were. In do believe that all children can learn, but in there own way. I am the kind of person who is energenic and patient. Each child can reach anything they set their minds to. A Little Bit About Me...

My original plan was to major in Education, but decided to double major in school, then obtain my teaching certificate after graduation. Now, armed with two degrees and a desire to enter the academic world once again -this time as the teacher - I am currently in the middle of getting my certificate for subbing, as well as seeking employment/ my certificate through Teach for America. I have gained experience that has helped me prepare to be a fantastic tutor: I took my PRAXIS exam and scored 90% on all three subject matters, I have tutored special needs students at the high school level, I have tutored ESL, and have been both a day camp and wildnerness guide, leading and teaching people of all ages and backgrounds.
