I am a very motivating person and tend to use humor as a method of teaching. I teach to and with the child and never down to him/her. I break large components into their simplest forms so that a child learns to take things one step at a time and not feel overwhelmed. As an graduate of Elizabeth City State University, I have done exceptionally well. I learned so much through tutoring other students. When I tutored in the Business Department for Accounting and Finance classes, I gave some students hope, and some students even looked up to me. That they made me feel great and it really made me enjoy what I did because I helped a lot of the students turn the weaknesses into strengths.
