As a long-time instructor in English, both in public schools and in higher education, I have encountered many students of many different backgrounds, learning styles, and ages, in the classroom and online. I have taught in many areas of English-related courses. These courses have included writing, literature, reading, public speaking, report writing, film and humanities, and other liberal arts courses. I like to work with children of all types. I think that anybody has the capability to learn if they really want to. I will be a graduate of Northeastern State University as of May 17th, 2010 holding a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I will be taking my certification test during the weekend of April 17th. This spring I complete my full internship in Owasso Ok, where I taught 5th grade. I have been able to experience children in teaching dance for man years. As well as having my own to children. One of which is a struggling reader, which prompted me to go back and get an education to learn how to help her better. My strengths are with all children, they are my passion.
