My comments on tutoring Dyslexia : I have over 15 years of tutoring experience, over 5 years of Academic Teaching Experience, which includes being a Student Advocate and Para-Educator. Before earning my BA in Communication Sciences and Disorders I began my college career as an Education major. I completed volunteer courses in “Brevard Reads” “Rolling Readers” and completed over 150 volunteer hours in Brevard schools while in the major. In small groups we went over elementary math skills, science, social studies, and reading. During my 2009 semester I volunteered as a teaching assistant in a Montessori school for children with Dyslexia and various reading difficulties.
