My comments on tutoring Reading : I teach Reading with a 100% success rate by using phonics.

I give the students a skills assessment to identify which concepts they need assistance with. Reading is one of my top subjects! I worked as a teacher in a private school for children with dyslexia. My position was as a Language Fundamentals Teacher and I was trained using the Orton-Gillingham approach to teaching. This is a multi-sensory approach and very highly regarded as a successful approach for children with dyslexia and reading disabilities. My comments on tutoring Reading : I'm a great speed reader with full comprehension of what I read, but I believe that even those who don't blaze through pages can learn how to pick up important details and their pace by learning how to focus on the material.

I try to approach client's problems on a case by case nature: they have a particularly hard to write paper or a class that just isn't working for them, and I will try to work closely with them to find solutions. I will not write a client's paper or perform any creative work for them, but I will edit or provide guidance as needed. While there are no shortcuts to an A, I will share what has worked for me and others in the real world.

I am a College Student studying English and Politics

I was a tutor in high school for many elementary and middle school aged children. I am also experienced with writing papers, so I can help anyone who is writing for a college application or essay.
