I am a very firm believer that each human being has a different way of learning. I also believe that each subject has a different way to be taught. I teach based off of my students, as well as the subject. I was a tutor in high school for many elementary and middle school aged children. I am also experienced with writing papers, so I can help anyone who is writing for a college application or essay. I am a very quick learner, so if there is a subject I am not as familiar with I am willing to study it to help a student. My goal is to help students understand the context being taught, as well as teach them the importance of this knowledge. It helps them understand that what may look difficult, may not always be so and that they only way to find out is to learn it. Also, I do not teach study habits. Instead I like to see what a students current habits are and work on expanding those habits so that the child does not get frustrated and overwhelmed.
