My comments on tutoring Piano : I enjoy playing the piano and singing and have taken lessons since I was 7.

2012 college graduate, majored in German language with a French language minor. I tutored foreign languages all 4 years in the Academic Resource Center at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. As part of our seminar classes, I also tutored Math at the Alexander II Elementary School in Macon. I have volunteer experience at the Joshua House After-school program. I was born in Romania and visit my family often so I can refresh my knowledge of the Romanian language as well.
I am a "kid-at-heart" who has a passion for helping other learn and succeed. I enjoy foreign languages and I want to share my enthusiasm with others. I strive for efficiency in teaching style, but I realize the importance of studying each student to see what motivates each one to take the next step closer to the goal. It is not enough for me to simply disseminate information. I believe it is vital that the student understands what she or he needs to know. I enjoy seeing children learn new things. I know that every child learns differently. It is important to get to know the children that you are teaching and figure out what teaching technique fits there needs. I feel like I do an excellent job of portraying what I am trying to teach.
I have always loved children. Children are precious and all have very unique learning techniques. When I was a senior at Maryville High School, I taught Spanish to first graders. My partner and I were in charge of making lesson plans and fulfilling these plans for each class. I really enjoyed seeing the children get excited about learning.
