A Little Bit About Me...

My Master’s degree is in special education with a concentration in emotional and behavioral disturbance. I have worked with students who have many different types of disabilities including behavior disorders. Working with students who have behavior disorders taught me that every student needs respect, care and patience. Every teacher needs to believe that every student can learn, including the ones that may exhibit extreme behaviors. A Little Bit About Me...

After receiving my bachelor's degree in Psychology, I started teaching special education while pursuing my Master's degree. I completed my Master's program in 2005 and received my certification in special education in the state of Tennessee. In 2009, I also received my certification in the state of Georgia. I have a variety of experience teaching different subject areas to students with special needs in grade levels ranging from k-12.
