As a special education teacher, I believe learning should be fun and exciting. I teach students based upon their individual needs and learning styles. I love learning and I try my best to pass that love of learning to my children and my students. Using centers in the class room, is a great way to make learning fun. Centers allow students to be actively engaged by presenting the subject material using a hands-on approach while allowing them to move about the room. I have a great love of teaching and guiding young people in their academic studies. My approach to teaching or tutoring is open and involves as much personal encouragement as I can. I am a graduate of Bryan College with a degree in Music Education, having taken many education classes and completed a semester of student teaching at the elementary and high school level in Rhea County schools. My prior experience in teaching comes from over 5 years of teaching piano lessons to beginning through advanced students from age 4-adult.
