Experience Summary
I have been in the health care profession for almost 20 years. I began my nursing career as a nursing assistant, worked as a LPN for 6 years before I became a RN in 2004. I received my Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2013 and am currently studying for a Masters of Nursing as an Educator. I have practiced mainly in the acute care arena with a focus on medical-surgical an progressive care nursing. I also have extensive experience in infusion therapy, abdominal transplant, diabetes education, and in home health and long-term care. I recently became Board Certified in medical-surgical nursing through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Teaching Style
My teaching style provides a strong emphasis on realistic experiences which bring theory and practice together harmoniously.
My Hobbies
I enjoy gourmet cooking and baking. I also find forensics fascinating and am enamored with murder mysteries. I am engaged in politics and relish American history.
