Calculus I is one of my top subjects!

Throughout my life, I have enjoyed doing mathematics. It has been my strongest subject since grade school. In middle school and high school I was consistently one of the top students in my mathematics courses. In college i took 3 semesters of Calculus (I, II, and III), 2 semesters of Probability and Statistics (I and II) and College Algebra along with some more advanced courses. NYU business school looking to tutor.

I am patient, warm, and pleasant. What I do is not so much teach the material as a way to learn the material. My methods are to understand the subject matter the students are weak on and learn it with them, displaying that it takes time learning anything and most of the work in understanding subjects are difficult. I like to be interactive- when I'm teaching I prefer to work through a problem with a student together the first time, letting the student more or less watch me. The second time through, we approach the problem with a little more weight placed on the student. The third time I ask the student to attempt the problem on his/her own, and I'm available for questions.
