I do not like to tell my students the answers, inhibiting them from thinking things through. I try to find different ways of teaching material in order to keep them motivated, as well.

A Little Bit About Me...

In 2006 I taught graphic design topics at Westwood College. In 2007 I taught the same subject at The Creative Circus (roughly equivalent to an MBA program for designers, writers, photographers, and art directors). In 2008 I taught in the design department for Georgia State University. This summer I traveled to a remote region in India to teach English. I have taught GRE prep for the past 3 years, covering the verbal, quantitative (math), and analytical writing (essay) areas. As a test prep teacher, I have a close knowledge of students' approach to graduate school, and the process of improving their chances of acceptance to schools of choice. I am academically qualified and more especially interested in teaching humanities courses.

I believe every student has the ability to learn any subject matter, however difficult it may seem. Effective instruction is strongly linked to effective communication of material, in a way that each student can understand personally. I strongly believe that every student achieves their best when they feel comfortable with their instructor and as a member of a problem-solving team. I will work hard with each student to communicate important points in a way that not only seems comprehensible, but also inspires interest. My goal is to work with each student as a student myself, discovering how they learn best and how best to use our time.

The courses touched on the basic concepts in subjects such as; Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics and Intro to Calculus. I left academia to pursue a business career but I continued to work with kids. I taught in the Junior Achievement program at a local high school, I tutored individuals, and I spent many years coaching soccer at the middle school level.

I feel confident that I could share this skill set with students so that they too can achieve their dreams. I am very patient and will work with any student at any level. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and about seven years of teaching experience in USA and in India. I can teach math for any level. Also I have about 3 years of tutoring experience with students of different level. Presently I am teaching in ESA Ombudsman that is specialized in drop-off students from the school.
Of course I love teaching specifically math of any level. My style is different; instead of teaching I coach my students. When I teach math, I don't simply use formulas and solve the problems; I try to teach how the formula is created and where to use it.
