My name is McCrae Mower, and I am currently a sophomoere at Minnetonka High School. I have been involved with tutoring for the last two years. I am part of an activity called "Backpack Tutoring." My passion is helping struggling readers become successful. I know how difficult it is for learners who do not like to read. Struggling readers who do not like to read have common characteristics. The most dominate characteristic is that they avoid reading at all cost. They avoid it because they have come to think they are not good at it and cannot do it.
