As a college graduate with both a bachelor's and master's degree, I have always been seeking excellence in learning. I have, over the years written many papers, reports, and essays, and consequently have learned and used many writing skills in many contexts. I have written academic papers, mental health reports, and sermons. With my background and degree being in music, I have enjoyed finding creative ways to induce wonder and enthusiasm for learning in my students. I have always accomplished this with the utmost patience, consideration and respect. This last quality in my style (respect of my students) has received much positive feedback throughout my teaching and mentoring. I believe that young people learn as much or possibly more from "what they see" than "what they hear" so that the example the teacher is exhibiting by his presence is often underestimated.
