I do a demonstration while I lecture on a particular point, i.e., perspective, form, light, color theory, etc., then let them have time to execute a given assignment in class. At this point I give them personal attention. I have a "critque" at the end of the session and have them participate. I require constructive comments so as not to discourage anyone and to promote the notion that everyone has a unique and valuable point of view . A Little Bit About Me...

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Lindenwood University. As a sophomore I was chosen as one of Lindenwood University’s History Tutors, a position I maintained until graduation in 2009. My primary responsibilities included: conducting exam study sessions, grading exams and assignments, and providing one on one tutoring (f.e. implementing study tactics, test review, editing). Currently, I am embarking on the pursuit of Graduate School.
The foundation of my academic experience starts with Mrs. Cox, a teacher for over 30 years and a mother of four — my mother.
