With my background and degree being in music, I have enjoyed finding creative ways to induce wonder and enthusiasm for learning in my students. I have always accomplished this with the utmost patience, consideration and respect. The foundation of my academic experience starts with Mrs. Cox, a teacher for over 30 years and a mother of four — my mother. It is through her guidance that I have acquired the patience, tact, and discipline necessary for learning and instructing. I do not favor one particular teaching method as each individual learns differently. That being said, I try to provide an array of options for the student.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Lindenwood University. As a sophomore I was chosen as one of Lindenwood University’s History Tutors, a position I maintained until graduation in 2009.
