A Little Bit About Me...

While at Hampton University, I obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry and maintained a 3.96 GPA. I have taken math courses in pre-calculus I&II, calculus I,II,&III, and Statistics. I have tutored and taught students enrolled in the Upward Bound Program in Bladen County and at Hampton University. I also tutored underclassmen in chemistry and math during my tenure at Hampton University. I have usually excelled in most of my classes; therefore, I have years of experience tutoring my peers as well. I am also a self-motivated, punctual, and highly organized individual.
Children have the ability to learn in a variety of ways. As a UNCP alumnus, I currently hold a BS in Biology. I have tutored peers in the past during my second year at UNCP. Subjects that I am familiar are science and math. I have a lot of experience in the science field. I currently work full-time in a lab using my science degree. I’m eager to work as a tutor and use my experience to help advance someone else’s education.
I have approximately one year of experience of professional teaching working with a grant funded program at UNCP. With this program was very hands-on and interactive with the students. I worked directly with the professors in the science department.
