Teaching can be a most wonderful adventure. I believe every child can learn. At times students or overwhelming with new concepts, and they need to be encouraged, and praise until they can accomplish the task at hand. I enjoy seeing the appearence of awareness on a childs face, when they have accomplished a goal, or solved a problem they had difficulty solving. I believe tutoring a child can be a powerful tool, and it can also unleash a potential genius.
As a graduate, I've been very blessed to have received a degree in Business Communication. In college I learned how to become a better educator, and communicate with them on the highest level. A Little Bit About Me...

I especially enjoy building the self confidence of students that have failed in an area. I believe their attitude about themselves plays a huge role in their ability to learn. I also try to create a firm foundation of basics so that they are able to easily build on that.
I taught a 5th grade for half a year in Missouri directly after graduating from college in January. I then taught a 5th/6th combination grade for one year when I moved to Colorado. After my marriage, I did substitute teaching for about 3 years. My most recent teaching experience was eight months of substitute teaching for K-8th grade in 2007. I have periodically tutored over the years in all subjects for students in elementary school.
