I enjoy teaching any age student, but more than that I get satisfaction when that student attains their goal. I was part of an intensive course of study which prepared teachers for real world experience from the first year of study. After graduation, I taught for four years in the California public school system, one year of a third/fourth grade combo class and another three years of third grade. I then moved to Central Asia and spent a year homeschooling the children of an American family who lived there. A Little Bit About Me...

I would be glad to work with students of all ages, but I prefer to work with a student individually rather than work with students in a group. From both my experience of being an informal tutor and being tutored, I find that students general prefer this style of tutoring because the tutor can both focus and better access their student's strengths and weaknesses in the particular academic subject they are having difficulty with.
I have informally tutored people of various age ranges in the subjects, physics and math , for a period that ranges over about three years . I have taught younger relatives as well as helped people informally on online tutoring message boards with math and physics problems.
