I graduated with my masters in math education in 2008 from SUNY Fredonia. During the school year, I am a substitute teacher. I have taught long-term at various districts in 7th/8th grades, as well as Algebra. Currently I am teaching summer school through a BOCES program, which includes Algebra and Trigonometry. During my tenure at Buffalo State College, I volunteered at the Equal Opportunity Program, where my main strength was utilized by actively tutoring students in the art of the english essay. I was able to tutor these students and advise them in the general format of the essay. We began by procurring a general introduction, or a statement of fact,followed by the body of the essay, descriptive references, and tying it all together with a summary that proves the point that you have set out to make.
