Experience Summary
As a training manager, I often taught classes to large groups of individuals on subjects such as statistics, Microsoft Office programs, and teamwork, problem solving and quality concepts. Further, as an engineer, I did a lot of one-on-one teaching of job instructions and job changes. I further informally taught other engineers how to perform different tasks in Word and Excel.
Teaching Style
Although I am an engineer by education, I have often found myself in a teaching role of all groups of people. I have often been complimented for my tremendous patience and ability to work with others to teach them some new information or concept. I believe in "teaching and doing" where the person is shown something and then they have to do it themselves to help reinforce the concept I'm trying to teach them.
