Ready to love learning

Adaptive. I have a background in experiential education and believe that the method is not as important as the end result of having assimilated, understood, and taught back the information. As a college senior, I've come to value greatly my education. Prior to enrolling at the University of Georgia, I made a perfect 800 on the math section of my SATs. Even though I am a science major, I have a great understanding of math. Currently, I tutor middle schoolers in basic algebra, most of whom are struggling and need a lot of help. I have also recently finished an entire college online algebra course online for someone with a 96 average.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love to work with children of all ages and genders. I have worked with children who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities as well as children of all ages, races, and genders. Upon graduating from Columbia International University in 1980, I took a position at The King's Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida as the department head for the math tutoring department for elementary students. I stayed in that position for three years until I started a family. When my children became school age, I took a position at Dekalb Christian Academy in Atlanta, Georgia heading up the tutoring department and worked with elementary and high school students in various subjects.
