A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is very interactive. I like to hear what the student has to say, and to tune in to the best way to approach each student. I know that each of us learns in our own unique way, and that the best results are gained by honoring those differences. One of my proudest accomplishments was the success of one particular student, who, at the age of 40, was back in school, having finally been diagnosed with learning disabilities after being passed through the public school system. As a recent graduate from Clemson University's Calhoun Honors College, I deeply believe in the importance of education. A Little Bit About Me...

I love to work with children of all ages and genders. I have worked with children who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities as well as children of all ages, races, and genders. I attempt to make learning as fun and relevant to the child as possible as every child has varying levels of understanding and concentrations. I am extremely patient and can handle anything. I like to relate learning to childrens' lives (make it about basketball if the boy likes basketball, or about chocolate if the girl likes chocolate).

Equally important is technical aspect of writing.
