As a tutor in college, our philosophy was to show the students how to learn the subject matter by incorporating memorization games and problem solving techniques for the classes that they were having difficulty with. I believe that communication is key to the student’s success. I would discuss with the student what they are having difficulty with and then develop tutoring sessions around those needs. Teaching can be a most wonderful adventure. I believe every child can learn.
