My style is relaxed. Many students appear frightened of math at first. I cover each subject well, allowing students to ask many questions. I encourage students to work problems while I watch, so I can catch them at the moment they make a mistake. I love teaching students of all ages, in basic math, algebra, statistics, and calculus. Education has always been my passion. While earning my Bachelor's degree at the University of California, Santa Cruz, I was approached by a professor and asked to work as a teaching assistant with her graduate (M.A. and Ph.D. level) students. I was concurrently hired as a tutor and supplemental instructor for math, economics, and business courses. While working towards my M.B.A at Humboldt State, I taught numerous courses in the business discipline. I'm now an associate faculty member at College of the Redwoods teaching business technology courses.
