The definition of success varies from person to person, from situation to situation, from school to school, from goal to goal. I like to teach by example and immersion. So much of what schools preach today is rote memorization, and to a certain degree, this cannot be avoided. But whenever possible, I like to try and find real world applications and demonstrations to get my lessons across to my pupil.
