I consider that to learn the language is important to love it. I use a different methodology like games, groups activities,reading, hands on activities, an cutural knowledge that makes any language fun to learn.
I have a B.A. in Social Work from Colombia . I worked there as a teacher for 3 years . Then I came here. I studied at Providence College the teacher Certification program in Spanish. I was more of an instructor than a teacher. I was a day camp counselor at Solway House parent/child resort in Saugerties N.Y. I instructed kids how to swim, dive, play various sports and gave dancing lessons to the guests. As a high school student I tutored 7th and 8th graders in an after school community center. I was one of a few staff at the University of Connecticut to instruct graduates and staff in the use of the various electronic facilites available to them.
