I have a B.A. in Social Work from Colombia . I worked there as a teacher for 3 years . Then I came here. I studied at Providence College the teacher Certification program in Spanish. I have experience as teacher assistant. I have been working as Spanish teacher at Providence School Department for five years. I use different methodologies that includes games ,group activities, apply the language to real life situations.

A Little Bit About Me...

I was a private tutor in Italy. I mainly taught English privately to high school students. I was more of an instructor than a teacher. I was a day camp counselor at Solway House parent/child resort in Saugerties N.Y. I instructed kids how to swim, dive, play various sports and gave dancing lessons to the guests. As a high school student I tutored 7th and 8th graders in an after school community center. I was one of a few staff at the University of Connecticut to instruct graduates and staff in the use of the various electronic facilites available to them.
I feel children are very self-aware and are very vulnerable to positive and negative feedback. Therefore, no matter how little progress is made, praise them.
