I believe in teaching students at their ability level and building them up to be able to comprehend and complete grade level work. I am able to express material in a variety of teaching styles, finding the one that works best for my student(s).
I have been working with children academically since 2004 in a variety of settings: one-on-one tutoring, group tutoring, and in the classroom. My area of strength is with students who are low learners or have learning disabilities. A Little Bit About Me...

I prefer a hands-on approach when possible. I lik to help the children relate to what they are learning in order to help them remember it.
I was a straight A student throughout school. I am currently a high school senior, so the information is still fresh in my mind. I have approximately one year of experience of professional teaching working with a grant funded program at UNCP. With this program was very hands-on and interactive with the students. I worked directly with the professors in the science department.
