Tutoring my fellow classmates was an integral part of my college experience. At Yuba College, I tutored math and chemistry in the College Success Center for two school years. I was in demand, as even fellow tutors would seek my help. I was also requested by my physics professor to tutor physics in the Hard Math Cafe on campus. While at UCI, where I graduated Cum Laude with a mathematics degree, I would often help fellow students, even during the professor's office hours when the professor was busy with another student. A Little Bit About Me...

I know that each child is different and ultimately learn in their own individual way. I try and adapt by using different tactics such as visual demonstrations and mental problem solving. I strive to help each student grasp and fully understand the different material.
I enjoy teaching and helping children; after I graduated from Chico State I started my teaching career at Grace Christian Academy teaching sixth grade. I have been substituting for the last 10 years at different K-12 schools in the area. I have spent my spare time coaching baseball and football at both East Nicolaus and Wheatland High School. I devoted eight years to each schools program. I enjoyed teaching and coaching and being a part of children’s personal and academic growth and seeing them develop into future leaders of our community.
