I am in the process of becoming an elementary school teacher, therefore I am familiar with the lesson plans within K-5th grade. I would say my teaching style is really focused on the student and what they need. In school I was an average student never getting lower than a C or higher than in an A. So I really want to focus on listening to the student, especially because they probably are not heard at school. I want to make each subject interesting to the student, whether that means going out and playing basketball or chess or candy or anything the student absolutely loves. My approach to teaching is to provide what is needed, and sometimes that is not limited to the explicit task at hand.
