Experience Summary
I have a diverse field of experience. I received a dual B.A. in Linguistics and Anthropology in 2006. This allows me to understand language tutoring at a deeper level than most tutors. This foundation has been augmented by 5 years of teaching experience in ESOL, History, Academic Writing, and Professional interview training which I have conducted all over the world. In 2009, I received my MA in applied linguistics. This degree worked as a capstone to perfect my teaching style in regards to ESL.
Teaching Style
I try to foster independent learners. If the pupil is perpetually dependent on the teacher, then nothing is gained- money and efforts are wasted. My techniques push students to acquire the skills and tools they need on their own. Everyone can aspire to this level of sucess if they try.
