My comments on tutoring SAT - Math : SAT math is a cummulation of all mathematics learned in high school up to algebra 2. There are both free response and multiple choice questions on the test. I have a SAT practice book from college board that I would bring to the lesson.

I am a recent graduate of Rosamond High School. During my time there I took math all the way up to AP Calculus. I took the AP test, and am awaiting the results. I have a refined mathematical aptitude, and strong people skills. I may haven never tutored professionally, but I have helped many of my peers understands challenging mathematical concepts. Whenever someone was stumped they would come to me for help. Many of my peers tell me that I helped them get a high grade on a certain test or even in the class.
When teaching a student, i try to help them understand the concept of the lesson before trying to explain the procedure. Once i have explained the concept to them, I show them how to work out the problem. Once I have walked them through a few problems, I let them try to do a couple on their own, until they get stuck. A Little Bit About Me...

As a scientific researcher and future graduate student, I believe that science (Chemistry and Biology) are a pertinent are of study for students who plan to be premed, involved in healthcare, or desire to conduct innovative research. I have earned my bachelors degree in Biology, and have earned a minor in Chemistry. These studies have allowed me to take courses and gain experience in both the lecture and laboratory facets of my academic career, which has allowed me to become a very competent laboratory researcher and technician.
