A Little Bit About Me...

Currently, I own my own Health Insurance Agency in Tehachapi. I am an Administrative/Management Professional with 20 years experience. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Administration with a GPA of 3.46. My 11-year old daughter is a straight A student because I worked with her at an early age with studies that were at least 1 - 2 years beyond her current year. I knew she had the intellectual capacity to learn these, and it has paid off for her every year of school. I was a Health Aide (Teacher's Aide) at Tehachapi Unified School District for 2 years, specializing with Resource / Special Education children (Pre-K to 6 Grade). I have learned valuable experience working with credentialed teachers. I have volunteered in my child's classroom from K-6th grade as well.

My teaching style is very goal-oriented, yet flexible enough to accomodate a variety of methods. Some students learn best from lectures, other learn from visuals while some are much better at hands-on instruction and correlations/representations. Each student has boundless potential; it is up to a knowledgeable educator to help that student unlock their potential and soar. Too many students these days give up too easily when their studies get a little challenging. I want to be able to show students that it's the challenge in their studies that make their courses more worth while and memorable.
