A Little Bit About Me...

I have always enjoyed helping people, children or the elderly. I have never been in the mentor or tutor field. I have mentored while in high school for reading and English for younger students. We were picked from our teachers for this special class. I would love to be considered for an oppurtunity to tutor or aide anyone who is in need. I am a recent graduate of kennesaw State University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. I believe that I am competent in various areas of biology and chemistry, and will be able to convey that competence. I have taught and tutored at my church and in other volunteer programs since high school. I also currently give drum lessons at a Stephen's Music Company.
I always find myself trying to lead others to figure out material on their own as a I set guidelines for them as they do so. I believe this is the best way for them to learn the material. I do not like to tell my students the answers, inhibiting them from thinking things through. I try to find different ways of teaching material in order to keep them motivated, as well.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a played piano for over 25 years. Completed my Minor in Piano Performance at Jacksonville State University. Currently performing gigs as keyboardist in Classic Rock cover band. I am teaching my daughter piano, and have 2 years experience training in both retail sales and customer service.
