I was a dedicated student throughout high school and college. I earned my Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University. I know work as a systems engineer performing mission analysis on guidance, navigation, and control aspects of rocket systems. I also mentor a FIRST robotics high school team. Facilitating good rapport allows me to understand a student’s strengths and weaknesses and allows focus on the weak areas. For example, does the student primarily utilize rote memorization or is he/she capable of a higher level of critical thinking? Someone who is more familiar with memorization as a way of learning can be taught to expand their understanding of the subject if the right questions are asked to them. Someone that demonstrates higher critical thinking skills might do better with repetitive exercises on the subject which encourages focus and application.

As an CSU-Pueblo senior engineer student, I know how hard some math classes could be. I have successfully passed all my math courses and I am one more class away to get my minor in it. I have helped students in the last 2 years with their math/Spanish courses. Students needed help in the beginning of the semester due to bad grades, through the semester I helped them to successfully improve their grades and review for every exam.
I love tutoring and working with students. I believe that students are capable to achieve and to learn whatever they need if they put an extra effort in their studies.
