I then taught behaviorally disturbed middle school students at a private institution in Baltimore. Upon moving to North Carolina, I began teaching second grade at a public elementary school that I have now been at since 1998. In the years at this title one school, I have taught first grade, second grade, and third grade. I also have four children at home that I work with, especially in reading, writing, and math.
