Have played piano for 16 years now, and taught piano 7 of those years. I have a lot of experience in teaching and tutoring. I have tutored for about 10 years now, starting with my fellow classmates while still in school and now tutoring one-on-one, mostly for elementary-aged children. I also teach - I conduct a teenage choir, taught at a Ukrainian school for 7 years (grammar, writing, reading, vocabulary), and give individual piano lessons. I've received my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and have had some experience teaching all grades K-5. I am currently working on my Master's as a Teacher Leader, with an endorsement in ESL.

I love to help a student learn to love school and music through tutoring sessions. I have been a math, science, history, and music tutor since high school. Being a part of many organizations in high school has made college a wonderful experience thus far. My teaching style involves what the student wants to achieve out of my teachings. For example i ask the students during their first lesson, "What musical groups and styles inspire you?" This way I can get a feel for what they are looking for.
