A Little Bit About Me...

Although I have only been teaching in a classroom setting for the last two semesters, I have spent a great deal of time teaching friends and fellow students over the years. I am very patient and able to adapt to the student with whom I am working. I am a firm believer that learning, and learning math especially, is not a spectator sport and that a great deal of practice is required to fully understand most material. I do my best to provide a helping hand with that practice.
Throughout high school and college, I performed at an academic level well above average. As a result, I often found myself helping my fellow students. Earlier on in my college education, my plan was to apply to Law School at MU, the university I was attending at that time. To apply, one was to have a Bachelor's degree in the area of their choice. I have always been fascinated by people . . . the way they think, how they learn, why they do what they do, etc., so I chose to major in psychology.
