In May 2012, I received my bachelors degree in English with a Literature Emphasis and a minor in Writing. I graduated with a 3.6 g.p.a. (Cum Laude Honors.) Throughout college, I took various education courses that focused on educational philosophy and physiology, elementary and secondary concentrations, and students with disabilities. I was able to obtain 36 education credits and in 2009, I was admitted into the school of education at my university where I was able to engage in student teachings, researchers, and observations. I love to make it fun. Theatre (as well as History) should be fun. Learning should be fun. When someone enjoys learning, they want to learn more! I prefer to have materials prepared prior to any tutoring session so communication ahead of time will be essential. If I have an idea of what is expected of me then I am able to help modify the session to fit the learner. I like to use both direct teach as well as discussion to help guide the tutoring session.
