Experience Summary
I have earned my Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University, which combined with my Bachelors of Science Degree in Communications gives me, a strong combination to understand and relate to the needs of students. Since receiving my teaching license that has me certified to teach grades 1-8, I have worked as a tutor for middle school students and been a certified classroom substitute in the Madison and Verona school districts.
Teaching Style
The opportunity to teach is really the opportunity to work with kids to make them stronger academically. I enjoy stretching a students learning abilities to levels that they are not aware they have. Given the correct instruction in the proper environment, students can accomplish anything and everything and that is my goal as a teacher. Learning about the student is also a very important part of instruction that can lead to academic growth and I feel observation and the ability to listen to students are two of my strengths as a teacher.
