Elementary Reading is one of my top subjects!

I have taught Kindergarten - 5th Grade general and special education for over 20 years. My passion is helping students overcome learning difficulties. In addition to holding teaching credentials, I have been trained in Orton-Gillingham, and Lindamood-Bell. My specialty is helping elementary students with reading, but I am able to effectively teach math as well.

Retired Elementary Teacher With 35 Years of Experience!

My name is Jean and I am a retired elementary school teacher with 35 years of experience teaching all subjects in grades K-5. I was voted Teacher of the Year by my peers in 2013. I was a Writing for Success Mentor in my district and led in-services. I tutor because I love to help students reach their academic goals and gain more confidence in doing so.
