My comments on tutoring Elementary Reading : Taught my children to read and they had very high reading proficiency in school.

Typing: 4 yrs. High School typing classes and years of typing on the home computer. I did take a couple R.O.P. classes on computer programs but have forgotten most of what I was taught since I didn't use it. I learn very quickly and can figure things out pretty well if I don't know how it works. I type 58 words per minute without looking at the keyboard. Drama: Involved with theater for approx. 5 to 6 yrs. On stage and back stage experience. No on camera experience. Also directed a show. Love theater and I know the basics and would love to help you learn. Reading: Taught my children, volunteered and worked in school. Love to read to and also help people learn to read.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently an instructional aide in a special needs classroom and work with elementary and middle school students. I have also had experience in school, both middle school and high school, as a tutor. The subjects that I have the most experience with are history, social sciences and English ranging elementary through college levels. I have a degree in History and a lot of experience and knowledge of various time periods and cultures. I am also proficient in math from basic arithmetic skills through Algebra II. In college, I worked for several months as an editor and writer.
