My goal in studying linguistics is to become a professional ESL teacher. I am very much interested in language development at all levels, but especially in nonnative language development. I am a native speaker of English, but I am also fluent in Spanish as well. I love to teach and learn language. I am a professional student currently enrolled in a master of arts program for applied linguistics at the University of Montana. After earning a bachelor degree in Mathematics/Statistics I entered graduate school with the intention of going into the Computer Science field. Teaching undergraduates, as a teaching assistant, I uncovered my desire to help and teach. In an effort to find a better path I'm now enrolled as a first year professional student in a Pharmacy program. I have an extensive educational background in math and sciences to draw upon.
